Poland's election turnout is inspiring!
|
|
In a historic moment, Poland's parliamentary election witnessed a significant shift in power, as women and the youth played pivotal roles in ousting the right-wing Law and Justice party (PiS) from office. The election turnout was remarkable, surpassing 74%, symbolized by the long queues at polling stations across the country. π³π€π½Notably, 68.8% of voters under the age of 29 participated, marking a substantial increase from the 2019 parliamentary election's 46.4% youth turnout. An extraordinary trend emerged as more young voters exercised their democratic right compared to the older generation, marking a remarkable and unconventional shift in political engagement.
